I built a Parametric Line Boring Gcode Generator (PLBGG) using VBA in an Excel spreadsheet. By entering a few parameters, my spreadsheet program will generate the gcode for line boring any length of cabinet side panel without ever needing to open any design or toolpathing software.

PLBGG was created using Excel 2007 for Windows. It has not been tested on a Mac and my undertanding is that there are some minor differences in VBA between the two platforms. If you know VBA, feel free to customize it to your heart’s desire, just don’t judge my clunky programming skills. I’m a cabinetmaker!
